If you have two numbers left that need to go in a box it helps to see if maybe the other number (not the one you want to go in) could fit somewhere. If you manage to rule it down to one place the 1 could go that's where it would go! Remember to check columns and rows to see if they have ones. If you can't rule it down to just one then skip that box and move to the next.

Check each of the boxes to make sure it has a 1 and if it doesn't see if you can use the process of elimination to rule it down to only one space the one could go. Sometimes I just go through each of the numbers. Use the process of elimination to rule out where numbers would be able to go.

For instance, I did my middle box third, and then I ended up with double numbers for my bottom left box even though I checked my middle box and I had all the numbers 1-9 in every box, row, and column. The middle box is what everything connects to. If you do it anytime before that then you can end up with double numbers.

Check after doing each of the Sudoku puzzles (because there are 5 and if you get just one of the boxes wrong you could affect all 5. Also check each of the 9 rows and columns to make sure they have the numbers 1-9. Check to make sure the numbers 1-9 are in each of the 9 small boxes that make up the large square (there are 9 boxes consisting of 9 cubes in each 3x3) for every Sudoku. Here are some helpful tips if you're having trouble with Sudoku (master or regular). The reason I was having trouble was because I did the top left, top right, and then the middle and I found out that you have to do the middle last. I recently had a little trouble solving the master Sudoku puzzle that George sent me but I solved it. It is one of my favorite math games and I've played/known about it before Nancy Drew. I consider myself fairly good at the game Sudoku.
